Meet Hodan Hashi

My name is Hodan Hashi and I am a 23 year old photographer from Boston, MA. Growing up, I never really saw myself as a creative person because I saw art in the simplest terms possible. It wasn’t until I got to college and began exploring and experimenting with my friends that I realized that there was beauty in the way I saw the world, and with a camera, I could capture that beauty. 

I have now been photographing for just under three years, and in many ways I see it less as a job and more as a medium to connect and collaborate with different people who are able to bring new perspectives and teach me more about my craft.

Outside of the world of photography, I consider myself to be a creative person in many realms. I am a business owner, a food-lover, an older sister, and an avid traveler. I am extremely thankful to have photography as the medium in which I express many of these passions.
